Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is an impressive piece of Islamic architecture with more than 80 marble domes on a roof-line enclosed overhead by 1000 pillars and punctuated by four 107m-high minarets. With references from Mamluk, Ottoman, Fatimid, Moorish and Indo-Islamic styles, this mosque houses the world’s largest loomed carpet and the world’s most enormous chandelier.
The mosque is open to non-Muslims with free guided tours in both Arabic and English. This 45-minute guided tour will give deep insights into the Islamic culture as well as the mosque architecture. However, the dress code is mandatory; those who failed to maintain the dress code will be asked to go to the changing room at security, where hooded abayas and kandouras can be borrowed for free.
Louvre Abu Dhabi
The world-famous Louvre museum opened its doors in 2017 with a range of art collections and achievements of humanity. You will need two hours to explore the museum if you need more time to spend examining the arts. However, quick 90-minute tours (adult/child Dhs50/30) are offered at 11 am and 2 pm daily in English and at 5 pm on Friday in Arabic and French.
Ferrari World
