Khasab Castle

Located in the province of Kasab, Khasab castle was made by the Portuguese in the 17th-century, when they conquered the Khasab Province, as part of their strategy to take power over the Strait of Hormuz, which is the narrow entrance to the Arabian Gulf from the Arab Peninsula. From the old documents exhibition to jewellery, clothes, weapons, kitchen equipment, and wedding decorations, the castle has several histories about the history of Musandam.
